Case Study - Strategy for cloud adoption/migration across the entire global organisation

Overview

We worked with our client to develop a blueprint for migrating a wide range of services, across their global offices, to the cloud.

What we did

As part of this engagement we conducted collaborative workshops with business unit leaders, technology leaders, and in some cases the policy makers to identify the end to end journey of the services.

We studied in detail the applications, systems and user experience for each of the identified services identifying the current state of technology infrastructure and brainstorming the target state. While the teams identified many opportunities for improvement, through migration to the cloud, we worked with the decision makers to identify the high priority areas and also the services that could be migrated at a later point of time.

Outcome

As a key outcome of this advisory engagement, we provided the client a roadmap for the migration and a toolkit to evaluate the service blueprint from the perspective of technology readiness, organisational impact, dependencies with other services, skill level of teams etc.
